Greenwell point is in the Shoalhaven region of New South Wales, Australia. It is about 13 km east of Nowra on the South Coast. At the 2006 census of population and housing, the town had a population of 1,276.
Greenwell Point is famous for both deep sea and estuary fishing. Prawns, crabs and other delicacies are available in abundance and neighbouring oyster farms supply what some say are the best oysters in Australia.
There is a range of excellent restaurants in close proximity and directly next door is the Bowling Club with a licensed restaurant and bar.
